Fruit flies are an annoying pest that are gross and may even carry diseases – but they can be taken care of with fruit fly traps. Most traps kill bugs with either sticky paper, an insecticide, or a design that is difficult to escape. Sticky traps aren’t the most attractive or easy to handle, but they are effective and may use natural ingredients instead of standard insecticides. Some traps have a shape that traps flies inside after luring them with a sweet, chemical-free mixture. Though most traps target fruit flies specifically, some may lure other flies and bugs as well.
