We loved how small this classic edition console was. It almost fits in the palm of your hand, and hardly takes up any shelf space. The SNES Classic comes pre-loaded with over 20 of your favorite games. This console allows users to save game progress and even includes a rewind feature so you can correct your mistakes.
The cords for the included controllers are too short. We recommend getting a compatible wireless controller instead.
Setting up the Super Retrocade is quick and simple. The console comes pre-loaded with 90 classic games like Mega Man 2 and Street Fighter. As if that wasn't enough, there is also an SD card slot so you can add more games if you chose. The emulation is smooth with little to no lagging. The included controllers have long cords and the system itself is quite small, taking up very little space.
Several of the games run quite slowly.
This Atari console offers a throw-back design with 2 wireless controllers and 2 paddles that play just like those from yester-year. System is easy to set up and is lightweight, so moving it from place to place is no problem. Comes loaded with 120 classic games, and delivers impressive color and clarity.
Occasional lag occurs while playing. The downside of the wireless controllers is that they tend to go through batteries quickly with frequent play.
We love that this handheld console has 260 popular favorites, and is extremely easy for kids and adults to play. The rechargeable lithium battery is a plus, compared to most handheld consoles of the past that required disposable batteries. Small and portable, but also gives the option of playing on a regular-sized TV with the AV cable that comes with it. Available in several colors.
Charging port is flimsy, and you can't play games while the console is charging.
Provides an arcade-like experience that's reminiscent of the 1980s, thanks the retro joysticks and buttons that are similar to the ones found on the original arcade games. Delivers nice graphics and sharp video quality. System is compatible with most TVs, monitors, and other devices, plus it's fairly easy to set up.
It has a lot of games, but many are repeats of the same and it's missing some popular favorites. Some games are glitchy. Subpar customer service.
