We loved how small this classic edition console was. It almost fits in the palm of your hand, and hardly takes up any shelf space. The SNES Classic comes pre-loaded with over 20 of your favorite games. This console allows users to save game progress and even includes a rewind feature so you can correct your mistakes.
The cords for the included controllers are too short. We recommend getting a compatible wireless controller instead.
Setting up the Super Retrocade is quick and simple. The console comes pre-loaded with 90 classic games like Mega Man 2 and Street Fighter. As if that wasn't enough, there is also an SD card slot so you can add more games if you chose. The emulation is smooth with little to no lagging. The included controllers have long cords and the system itself is quite small, taking up very little space.
Several of the games run quite slowly.
We love the size of this handheld – easy and comfortable to hold. It comes loaded with 168 NES, SNES, Gameboy Color games, and many more. There is a quality feel to the materials and buttons. We also like that the battery pack is rechargeable, and lasts longer than most. Makes the perfect road trip companion.
Unlike other similar handhelds, you are unable to add more games to this one.
Given the low price point of this console, we were shocked and impressed with the graphics quality. The RS1 came pre-loaded with 150 games and levels. It's lightweight and easy to carry. The backlit screen makes taking this handheld outside a non-issue. We loved how quick and seamlessly the games loaded. Another impressive quality of the RS1 was the volume level – it goes quite high for such a small unit.
The cable for this was a little too short.
We love the bright color options available for the Wolsen. The simple design makes this console a perfect choice for young kids who need something to distract them on long car rides. Like many of its competitors this handheld console comes pre-loaded with full games, such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Goonies, and many other memorable titles.
Graphics tend to lose quality when transferred onto the TV screen.
