A cork board is a sheet of cork in a frame. Because cork is pliable, it’s easy to stick pins in it, making it simple to hang notes, to-do lists, and photos on it. A cork board can be used creatively to display jewelry, decorative pins, and ephemera from a special event such as a wedding. Cork boards are generally 2’ x 3’ or 4’ x 3’, however they are available in just about any size. Frames are generally plastic or wood. All include a way to mount the board on a wall. The back of a cork board should be sturdier than cardboard if you plan to put up and take down items frequently. Some cork boards are coupled with a magnetic dry-erase board.
