Waterproof laser printer paper is good for many uses. Products on the market do a decent job of delivering on the promise to hold up under wet, dirty, and greasy conditions and not tear easily. They are great for field work, outdoor notifications, maps for camping and hiking, logging activity in wet environments, or workshops with chemicals and grease. This paper is sometimes called polyester paper because it is often made from a synthetic material. This material can be wadded, wetted, crushed, and crumpled without turning to mush. The print may fade but should still be readable. Some waterproof paper is still recyclable. They come in a variety of mil weights, but some will be more challenging than others to cleanly run through your laser printer. Some may curl when they go through the printer. Some may be hard to fold, but most are still easy to cut. Unlike normal paper, waterproof paper designed for laser printers will not do well in inkjet printers. It also may not take a pencil mark easily. Although, most will do a good job with either a waterproof pen or even ballpoint.
