Pore cleansing strips are designed to tug out stubborn blackheads. Blackheads are essentially dirt that’s trapped inside your pores. Removal of these nasty spots provides a deep clean that’s not possible with a simple cleanser. Strips are usually made to fit around the T-zone area and feature a sticky underside that attaches to deep-seated grime. Products with tea tree oil and witch hazel are best for those with sensitive skin. Application and removal take as little as 10 minutes with most strips, but don't use them more than once or twice a week. Overdoing it can dry out skin and cause unwanted irritation.
