Let’s face it, playing music on an Alexa device in rugged work environments like a construction site is not going to work. Apart from getting clogged with dirt and dust, and possibly pulverized by debris, the volume is never going to be high enough. Specialty radios have been made for such uses. They are rugged, often with a roll cage to offer protection from drops and impact. They are also weatherproof to withstand being outdoors, and portable. In addition, the speakers will need to be configured to deliver quality stereo sound that can be heard on job sites. Most offer cordless and battery use, and many will connect to smart devices via Bluetooth. Some also operate as battery chargers and clocks.
