Those Keurig one-cup coffee makers that use “K-Cups” (single-use, prefilled coffee filters) are super convenient, but if you drink coffee every day, the price adds up quickly. And there are other issues with those disposable K-Cups: They’re made of plastic, which could leach harmful chemicals into your coffee and after just one use, they head straight for the landfill. Reusable K-Cups solve these problems, and they have the added benefit of allowing you to brew a stronger or weaker cup. Look for reusable K-Cups that are sturdy so they’ll last a long time, and even more important, make sure you get a set that fits the model of Keurig coffee maker you own.
