We’ve come a long way since women pinched their cheeks to get a rosy flush, and we’ve also left behind grandma’s daubs of clown-like rouge. Today’s blushes give a natural, healthy glow with sheer color that brings life to the cheeks. However, it's easy to go overboard with powder blush, while cream blush can be hard to apply and blend. With liquid blush, you can use a tiny drop of product, place it accurately on the cheeks, and easily pat it into the skin with your fingertips, or you can use a brush or sponge to blend. A sheer wash is great for everyday, while color can be applied in layers for a more made-up evening look. Some liquid blushes also double as a light lip stain for a flattering monochromatic look.
