A Hatchimal CollEGGtible is an ingenious little toy that combines the element of surprise with an activity your child will really enjoy. Hatchimal CollEGGtibles are small animals of all kinds measuring about 1” in height that come inside plastic eggs. The eggs are sealed until they are rubbed and cracked open by the new owner of the toy. Every set is a surprise. The animals are designed to be collectible and there are several sets of animals to collect. Some eggs will even offer a bonus “twin” set of animals. You can determine which collectible set you are buying by the color of the egg. However, you will not know which Hatchimal is inside until it is cracked open. The egg cracking part of the toy is a one-time experience, but kids enjoy the animals. They will be a favorite toy.
