LEGO’s new Architecture set doesn't just shrink New York into a brick skyline and call it a day. The LEGO Big Apple gives you the chance to build six icons of the city in minimalist white, then sets them against a black, apple-shaped backdrop with a starry sky and a strip of Central Park below it.
The landmark lineup is an homage to New York: the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Guggenheim Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Statue of Liberty. LEGO also tucked in other iconic nods to NYC, like yellow taxi cabs, a printed "New York, New York" tile and other Easter eggs to discover as you build and explore the set. Altogether, it makes this feel more like a love letter to the city than a toy.
