Sometimes using a combination of facial creams and liquid makeup products can simply feel too heavy. With lightweight coverage and hydration, tinted moisturizers combine several products in one. In addition to moisturizing skin, tinted moisturizers provide minimal coverage, adding a hint of color that makes skin look more even and refreshed. Some tinted moisturizers also contain SPF, eliminating the need to wear a separate sunscreen. Like other foundations, tinted moisturizers are available in various shades for different skin tones. That said, the coverage is so sheer with most tinted moisturizers that finding your perfect match is less of a concern. Tinted moisturizers work best for "no-makeup" makeup days or for those with few skin issues.
