Amazon Prime Day is early this year
Prime Day is Amazon's biggest sale of the year, and in 2026, it's happening earlier than ever before. Amazon has confirmed that the four-day event is returning June 23-26, marking a change from the usual July dates. Prime Day 2026 kicks off at 12:01 a.m. PDT on June 23, with deals available on the Prime page and in the Amazon Shopping app.

Prime shoppers can expect deals across 35 different product categories including electronics, beauty, fashion, home, groceries and more. This year, Amazon is making it even easier to prepare for all the best deals by letting users get an early start with deal alerts to track specific products for price changes. You can use Alexa to set target prices on your most-wanted items and receive a notification when the price drops. You can also turn on auto-buy and Alexa will purchase your wished-for items once the price hits your target.
Prime members can also use Alexa to receive personalized deals guides based on shopping history and preferences. Tap the "+" icon in the Alexa for Shopping chat bar and select Prime Day deals. Once Prime Day arrives, you will have a curated selection of deals ready to go with explanations on why each item was chosen for you.
The app's Price History feature is also helpful when trying to figure out what items are worth buying. Just tap the "Price History" link on any product detail page to see a year's worth of pricing info on millions of products so you can determine whether it's time to buy.
This year's Prime event is offering users limited-time offers as we wait for the event dates:
- Win free groceries for the year. Spend $15 or more on a qualifying online grocery order on Amazon and be entered to win free groceries for a year. Winners will be announced weekly leading up to the Prime Day event.
- Alexa for Shopping prize. Set up an alert with Alexa and be entered to win a $1,000 Amazon gift card with 100 winners selected by Prime Day.
- "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" early screening. Prime members are eligible for exclusive early screenings of the latest Spider-Man film on July 29 in select theaters. That's two days before its wide release.
- Little Caesars $5 pizza. From June 15-26, Prime members can grab a $5 large pepperoni or cheese pizzas up to five times on different days. Order at the Amazon Little Caesars page.
