According to Bestway, The Blobzter combines a splash pad, a water blob and a slip 'n' slide into one fun-filled toy. As a splash pad, kids can jump, run and lay on the mat while getting sprayed with water. For those who don’t want to get wet, the built-in sprinklers turn off, allowing kids to bounce on the water blob and cool off without getting soaked. The 15-foot mat also acts as a slip 'n' slide, with sprinklers keeping the cool surface slick and a pool at the end for a safe landing. 

This giant mat fits up to 238 gallons of water to provide a water-cushioned landing for little ones while playing, jumping or sliding. How to use Bestway H20 Go! The Blobzter Giant Water-Filled Spraying Mat and Drench Pool

Upon first impression, the Bestway H20 Go! The Blobzter is more extensive than anticipated, but in a good way. It's definitely able to fit several children at once, preventing any arguments over taking turns. Setup was convenient and required only a garden hose, although it did take about two hours to fill completely. 

The mat was originally set up on a slight hill in anticipation of using it as a slip and slide. Unfortunately, the water congregated at the bottom of the mat, causing the mat to flip over itself. It’s also nearly impossible to move once filled. Even though the mat features indication arrows pointing down the mat, it didn’t function very well as a slip and slide, likely due to it being on a flat surface. Without momentum and additional water, it was impossible to slide completely across the mat. The sprinklers are also too weak to contribute to a more slippery surface. 

On the other hand, The Blobzter functions excellently as a splash pad and water blob. It endured hours of gymnastics, running and jumping every time the mat was set up. Walking across the squishy water also requires a bit of balance, making it fun for older kids. It opened up the kids’ imaginations to play with it however they choose. 

You also have the option to set up the mat and leave the built-in sprinklers off for a dry experience. However, the water inside the mat remains cool for hours, making it ideal for warm days with or without water. Draining the mat is simple, and it folds up compactly to store.

While it’s a large piece of equipment, it conveniently fills up with your everyday hose and drains using the valve on the underside of the mat.

Because of that, it doesn’t perform very well as a slip and slide without having momentum from a hill. Also, even though it isn't labor-intensive, the large mat takes a long time to fill and drain.
