Labubus went from niche collectible to full-blown internet obsession in what feels like minutes. One day they were popping up sporadically on our FYP, and the next they were hanging from everyone's bag, selling out instantly and reselling for eye-popping prices. Something about the blind boxes and rare pulls (and the chaotic cuteness) just made them irresistible.

The downside is that, as Labubus became harder to find, the prices shot straight into the stratosphere. Particularly if you went hunting for a specific one, hitting "add to cart" started to feel like a significant financial decision sometimes. But now, thank goodness, the craze is dying down a little. More retailers have Pop Mart on offer, and prices are finally starting to stabilize a little bit.
