Segway has sold hundreds of units in the last month alone, and its robot mowers have great ratings and reviews. They use wire-free mapping with virtual boundaries rather than cables, and they're packed with features like scheduling, obstacle detection and an included app.

Navimow mowers automate your lawn mowing routine. After the mower learns the lawn, it follows planned routes, cutting a small amount of grass at a time and leaving the fine clippings behind rather than collecting them in a bag. When its battery runs low or the assigned area is complete, it returns to its charging station automatically.
The navigation technology depends on the model: Some use real-time kinematic satellite positioning with cameras, while others use solid-state LiDAR and vision. But all Navimow models work without you having to install a perimeter wire.
The obvious benefit is reclaiming the hours normally spent walking behind a mower. A robot can maintain the lawn while you work, run errands or stay inside during the hottest part of the day. Once the boundary and schedule are set correctly, regular mowing requires far less hands-on attention.
Robot mowers are designed to cut frequently instead of removing several inches of growth once a week. The tiny clippings fall into the turf, where Navimow says they break down and return nutrients to the soil to promote better growth.
Noise is another advantage. Most models are considerably quieter than a typical gas mower. Their rechargeable batteries also don't emit exhaust or require trips to the gas station.
Robot mowing isn't entirely hands-off. You still need to remove hazards, clean the underside, inspect the blades and correct any problems with the map. Yard size, slopes, narrow passages, trees and poorly defined edges can also affect performance, so selecting the correct model matters as much as choosing the brand.
Segway's most affordable robot mower, the Navimow i105N, is at its lowest ever price during this sale: $669, down from $799.
It's made for small lawns; it covers up to an eighth of an acre, or approximately 5,445 square feet, with no perimeter wire. Its EFLS 2.0 RTK-and-vision navigation builds virtual boundaries, plans systematic routes, avoids more than 150 object types and returns to the charging station before resuming unfinished work.
It has a 7.1-inch cutting width and height that can be adjusted from 2 to 3.6 inches. It can handle slopes up to a 30% grade. It charges in about 90 minutes and runs for up to 60 minutes per charge and is compatible with Alexa and Google Home devices and comes with a three-year warranty.
We haven't tested the Navimow i105N, but we have tested the newer Navimow i206 AWD, which uses similar Navimow app, mapping and scheduling features. Our testers found that the mapping setup is really impressive. If you have a yard with easy, straight defined edges, the auto mapping will work for you and is very easy to use. We tested on a yard that has curved edges and different terrains, so we had to use the manual mapping feature. What was so impressive about it was that after we did a rough map, the mower went around and refined our mapping to cover the most footage as possible.
The charging station is easy to install, the app is intuitive and we found the setup in general very easy. Once you map the area, you just set up a mowing schedule. The mower is designed to mow little and often, meaning that instead of hacking away inches of grass once a week, it cuts milimeters at a time, frequently throughout the week, which the company claims “naturally mulches the grass, promotes denser growth, and keeps your lawn continuously manicured.”

For yards up to a quarter acre, this robot mower operates without wires, using EFLS 2.0 navigation with double the mowing time per charge. The app manages boundaries, connected zones, schedules and cutting direction, while a 140-degree camera helps it avoid obstacles. It's also extremely quiet at just 58 decibels.
Segway Navimow i215 LiDAR Robot Lawn Mower 11% OFF
If you have a larger or more complicated lawn, this robot mower might work well for you. It uses solid-state LiDAR and vision to map up to 0.37 acre without an RTK antenna. It can also handle 45% slopes and detect more than 200 obstacle types, and you can adjust cutting height from 2 to 4 inches.
