Walmart has three Black Friday events on the horizon

Gone are the days of Black Friday shopping only on Black Friday. Walmart just revealed its Black Friday schedule, and if you're planning to only shop the day after Thanksgiving, you'll miss out on a lot. The retailer is planning three separate sale events this year, beginning Nov. 12 and ending Dec. 2, which means the first wave of deals arrives a full two weeks before Black Friday, and the final sale turns Cyber Monday into a three-day shopping event.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Event 1 is Early Black Friday Deals from Nov. 12-15, beginning on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET and in stores at 6 a.m. local time. Walmart+ members get early access to hot Deal drops beginning at 12:01 a.m. ET on Nov. 12, and any remaining hot Deal drop items release for all customers at 12:01 a.m. ET on Nov. 13.
  • Event 2 is the official Black Friday event, from Nov. 23-29, beginning on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET and in stores at 6 a.m. local time. Once again, Walmart+ members get early access — they can see hot Deal drop items at 12:01 a.m. ET on Nov. 23, and any remaining hot Deal drop items will open to all customers at 12:01 a.m. ET on Nov. 24.
  • Event 3 is Cyber Monday, from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The event starts on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET.
