It may still be freezing and snowy outside, but spring is thankfully on its way, and we can't wait. Aside from warmer weather and more daylight, we are excited for Amazon's Big Spring Sale. Every year as the spring season hits, so do the deals on products that will help you welcome the flowers and sunshine as you emerge from your winter hibernation.

One category we are always excited to find deals in is beauty products. With spring and summer coming, it's time to refresh the skin care routine, pick up a new sunscreen, or try a more efficient hair gadget so you can enjoy the gorgeous weather more quickly.

What is Amazon's Big Spring Sale? 

In the past, the Spring Sale has offered large discounts across over 35 categories, from fashion and beauty to outdoor furniture and garden supplies. The sale has typically also offered deals in beauty, home, apparel and bestselling electronics. There are usually daily deal drops as well, of up to 40% off your favorite products. Last year, the event advertised these deals: 

• Up to 40% off select apparel and beauty
• Up to 40% off select sports and travel essentials
• Up to 40% off select outdoor furniture and gardening supplies
• Up to 35% off select lawn and grilling equipment
• Up to 35% off select home storage and bedding

When is Amazon's Big Spring Sale? 

The online retailer has not announced the official dates yet, but in recent years, the sale has happend at the end of March.

Do you have to be a Prime member to have access to Amazon's Big Spring Sale deals? 

All customers can shop the sale, but Prime members have access to the steepest deals and daily discounts.

How do I sign up for Prime? 

If you'd like to sign up for Amazon Prime, go to the Prime homepage and sign in or create an account. Most new members receive a 30-day free trial and after that month is over, you can join for $14.99 per month or save by paying $139 for an entire year's membership. Young adults ages 18 to 24 are eligible for a six-month free trial and then a discounted membership rate. Once you become a member, you are eligible for Prime benefits, including free delivery, unlimited streaming, exclusive deals and more.
