Allen Foster (he/him) began his career in journalism 30 years ago. In that time, he has honed his research skills to present the objective, factual, unbiased product information that he himself appreciates as a consumer. He believes in being well-rounded and taking a hands-on approach to life so he can base his writing on practical experiences. As such, he has worked in the construction and home improvement fields, coached high school sports, taught music, managed a swim club, gained Eagle Scout status, and earned a degree in fine arts. For relaxation, he writes fiction, reads, plays piano, enjoys scary movies, and occasionally works as an extra in film and TV.
